What are you craving? (a craving is a powerful desire for something.)
If your craving is not taken care of it becomes a satisfaction issue! This means you act out on what you are craving!
Maybe what you were craving was not really the thing you were craving! You took action, and felt satisfied…
but…
It was temporary! You just needed some excitement at that moment and it didn’t really fulfill that craving!

Let’s see how this played out in David’s life…
David was supposed to be at war but he remained in Jerusalem! David saw Bathsheba desired her! Took action and slept with her!
David didn’t have an intimacy issue; it was a need to conquer! Remember David was supposed to be at war! In war they conquer! Instead he was bored, got excited and fulfilled His satisfaction issue!
How many times in life have we passed over real intimacy to only getting a counterfeit intimacy?
How many times have we passed over true intimacy with Jesus? Just to go get our own selfish satisfaction?
I’m sharing this with you to remind you to keep feasting on Jesus EVERYDAY! When we stop feasting we get hungry, agitated, irritable, short, & ugh! When that happens we adventure out into this world looking like everyone else! We are Kingdom! We are made to shine bright for the Kingdom! Keep your eyes on Jesus & keep feasting on Him!
True intimacy is with Jesus in your own personal dwelling place! Make time for Jesus, His heart hurts when we choose the counterfeit over Him! Return to your first love Jesus! Let the heart of Jesus take priority in all we do, think, and say.
“Oh, that he would kiss me with the kisses of his mouth!”

The Lord is looking to get face to face with you and kiss you! Stare into His eyes of fire, that fire is the Holy Spirit! Jesus has eyes of fire because He is full of Spirit! When we look into His eyes we become full of Spirit and His fire cleanses us and fills us with His love! We become mouth to mouth, literal breath exchange!
Draw close enough to Jesus to kiss His face!
If you have chosen the counterfeit over Jesus! Repent, He loves you and come full force back to Him! You are His Bride and He is Your Heavenly Bride Groom! He’s so forgiving and gentle!
Sometimes in your intimate dwelling place you may not feel Jesus! That’s ok, He withdraws from us from time to time because He wants our love for Him to grow, to become purer and stronger.
“Who is this coming up from the wilderness, leaning on the one she loves?”
Keep your eyes on Jesus and your heart burning for Him! Go be with Jesus!
