I can't believe it's been a year of Ministry! I feel like this year went by so fast! Anyone else?

This Ministry launched on Christmas Day 2020! I picked Christmas Day for the launch day because it was my long-overdue Birthday gift to Jesus! Back in December of 2012, I was sitting on my bed, watching a Britt Nicole YouTube Video, and God spoke to me "teen girls" then He put the call of Ministry on my heart!
About 4 months later I got a call from the youth pastor asking me to serve in the youth group. I was in total shock because I never told anyone that God called me to Ministry. I started serving in that youth group. That led to other ministry speaking engagements.
That led to a tug on my heart to start a Ministry! BUT I got in my head trying to figure out the how? I listened to people telling me women can't preach, women can't run a Ministry, (I want to throw this in, I don't own my Ministry, God does! AMEN!), you have to go to college for years, you have to have a fancy seminary degree, you have a party girl past and more.
SO I RAN & SETTLED! UGH, that's hard to type. Even while running, I still had that desire in my heart SO strong.
In 2019 my life got rough! I went through a divorce & I lost myself! I didn't know who I was anymore! Such a blurry year! BUT at the end of 2019, I joined a church that God called me to in 2013 (I'll save that story for another time, that was another occasion I didn't listen to God), and my relationship with God leveled up!
Then 2020 happened! One of the BEST years of my life! I was in quarantine like the rest of the world. I committed to spending lots and LOTS of time with Jesus! He poured Shift Worthy Ministries into my heart! This time it was beyond SO strong! I've never really been the girl to get visions from God, but visions started coming to me in parts. When the church opened back up in person, I had random people come up to me and confirm the call of Ministry. Part of the vision was written on the back of a truck in glass chalk, and I got called out by a girl on a zoom call randomly. She asked me what's my Ministry (I didn't have a Ministry at the time.)
After that, I built a Ministry with God's vision, and here we are 1 year later.
I want to encourage you today to pursue that God-given dream! Don't run for years (like I did), if God gave you the dream! Go for it! DON'T let ANYONE hold you back! God gave you the dream, not them! Yes, it will be hard, but it's SO worth it! Get after it! I'm cheering you on! Hey if God can use a broken unqualified girl like me, HE CAN USE YOU!
